Why adopt gorgeous elegance when you can have quirky goofiness? Ace may not have that classic Doberman distinction but once you earn his heart, he has the classic Dobie love. We received Ace from another all breed rescue in Alabama where he’d been a chained up yard dog. Hard to bear the thought of this once you learn that Ace is a bit neurologically deficient. He is only about a year old and is learning to be a house dog. Potty training, crate training and staying off the counter and out of the trash are all on his daily schedule.Learning to play with toys are also on the agenda. Ace gets along well with other dogs and kids.
Ace will be visiting UT hospital for a neuro consult to see his limitations but he is a fully functioning puppy that takes a bit more patience to learn. He is a smart dog, (knows a dog door and his name) but gets fixated on things and needs reassurance when scared. If you think you could be a good match for this guy, please reach out and meet this sweet guy.
