Age: 3 years Sex: Female Colors: Black/Rust Ears/Tail: Cropped/docked Location: Johnson City, TN Adoption Fee: $350 Athena is a wonderful 3 year old girl. She is a typical dobie full of energy and very affectionate. She loves to give kisses, especially on someone's nose. She loves to ride in cars and every time we go out, she stops by the car hoping we'll go for a ride. Athena is cat and kid friendly. Athena doesn't like the rain or getting her delicate little feet wet. She is very funny prancing outside when the grass is wet. She doesn't seem to mind being touched anywhere, including her feet. She is food motivated, but toys don't seem to interest her. We are working on housetraining and will need continued training from any adopter to keep her on the right path. She will let us know when she needs to go out, but there was only a one minute warning. If you want a companion to watch TV with Athena, is your girl. She will sit or lie next to you on the couch, and is agreeable to anything you want to see. She does not hesitate to remind you that she likes being petted. Athena would do best in a home with a like sized/energy male companion as she can be dominant towards females. *Since we are 100% volunteer based, we ask for a $25 application fee to determine if the adopter is seriously interested in going through with an adoption.
