Dolly & Remington
Age: 6 & 8 Sex: Female (Dolly) & male (Remi) Colors: Black/Rust (Dolly), Blue/Rust (Remi) Ears/Tail: Natural/docked Location: Gallatin, TN Adoption Fee: $400 Dolly and Remi are a bonded pair and will be adopted together. 🐾 Meet Dolly and Remington! 🐾 Dolly is a black/tan female who is more energetic and outgoing than Remi. She demands the love and will be in your lap the moment you sit down. She is not a Velcro in the sense of following you everywhere but she will definitely ask you for love all the time. She needs some work on the leash and gets very excited when going for a walk. When she encountered my mom's cat she pretty much ignored it. She listens when asked to sit so you can put her food down and she waits to go out the door. She also has good house manners and does not get wild in the house, saving it for the backyard with Remi. Remington (Remi) is a blue male. He is independent and not a velcro boy. He enjoys snuggling and receiving attention but does not demand it. He walks well on a leash but does pull some. He listens when asked to wait at a door and to sit so you can put his food down. He is a couch potato inside and does not play with Dolly inside. They save their goofing off for the backyard. He has met my mom's cat twice. The first time he just sniffed and looked at it. The second time he licked the cat. Both times when the cat was done, it ran and this did cause Remi to get excited like it was a game; however, he was on a leash so he was unable to chase the cat. Remi is great with kids and has not been rough. He has a hard time jumping into the back of my SUV due to his hips and therefore needs help if going for a car ride. He is not food aggressive. The only thing he has occasionally barked at are animals that he sees when he's outside (deer, horses, goats). He hasn't met a stranger. *Since we are 100% volunteer based, we ask for a $25 application fee to determine if the adopter is seriously interested in going through with an adoption.
