Keo is a sweet old man of 11 who loves his chewy toys and cuddling. With age, comes wisdom and he is very smart, knows/follows many commands, and still likes to play. His vision is limited: has a hard time seeing things more than 10-15’ and peripherally. He’s also a bit arthritic: his paws are sensitive and his hips are weak so he has a very hard time walking down stairs. Keo loves attention but can be possessive: he needs to be with just one, maybe two, people at most (no kids) and no other dogs. Keo is a grouchy old man who doesn’t like visitors, if visitors come by, he needs to be muzzled or kept away (outside or constrained to another room). All in all, he’s a sweet guy and has lots more love to give - he just needs a home where he’s familiar with how to act. Keokeo is currently being fostered in North Carolina.
