One of the first things you'll notice about Mocha is her unique appearance. Her ears have been previously attempted to be cropped, but was not done properly. Currently, she is undergoing heartworm treatment, but her prognosis is excellent, and once completed, she is expected to live a long and joyful life. At 60-65 pounds, Mocha is a dainty gal, but don't let her size fool you. She's full of energy and enjoys playtime with her foster brother. Despite her lively nature, she also adores cuddling on the couch with her favorite humans. Mocha is a true velcro Doberman, always seeking the company of her family and following them wherever they go. Living with her foster family, Mocha has shown impressive progress. She is crate trained and housebroken, making her a well-behaved companion indoors. On walks, she behaves admirably on a leash, showcasing her eagerness to learn and adapt. In fact, she's already picking up the "sit" command. Mocha's interactions with other dogs have all been positive, demonstrating her friendly and sociable nature. However, she hasn't been tested with cats yet, so that still remains unknown. Similarly, her interactions with children are yet to be determined, although her personality shows great promise. Mocha's journey to a forever home continues with vaccinations in place and plans for spaying and microchipping upon her adoption. Currently fostered in East TN, she is eagerly awaiting the opportunity to become a cherished member of a loving family.
