This cute little 4 YO spayed redhead is Phoenix. 
Mistress of the inside-out ear(s) and goofy expressions, Phoenix is adaptable and affectionate, but not velcro-y. Whatever you want to do, she's interested. She'll give you sly little licks, and make herself comfy next to you on the sofa or her bed while you work or watch TV. If you want to play, just give her a sign and she's up for a bit of roughhousing. She might hop onto your bed for a second to say goodnight, but jumps back into her own bed to chew on a toy for a bit until she falls asleep. Phoenix does just fine left alone in the house, and has a great 'wow you're back!' wriggle. Not a counter-surfer, but she's tall and athletic, so we wouldn't suggest leaving a steak on the counter.
Not great on a loose leash, but not terrible, either. She doesn't weigh much and doesn't insist on chasing wildlife when she hears "leave it". Likes a relaxing wander to sniff any and everything.
She's curious--she has cautiously investigated New And Mysterious Stuff at her foster house, like a creepy snake skin and the embarrassingly loud dishwasher, and decided they were a-ok.
