Meet Scotty! 
      Scotty is a 2 year old Red Male with docked tail and flop crop. Scotty came in to rescue with a fractured right front leg which was then repaired using rods and screws. Scotty is able to weight bear on his leg but at times chooses not to. He also has  a good amount of muscle atrophy that will hopefully improve with time. Scotty is the best boy! He is house and crate trained, even appears to know a few commands like “shake”! Scotty currently lives In. Foster home with 4 kids (5 and under) two dogs (large and small) and a cat. He loves to play but his activity has been limited since surgery. He also enjoys just being around his people, chewing on his Benebone. Scotty is very submissive to his female foster sister and takes correction well. Scotty does appear suspicious of strangers entering the home but warms up very quickly. He seems to want to play with the cat but hasn’t had the chance to get close enough to try. He hasn’t shown any resource guarding or other behavioral issue besides lack of personal space(in true Dobie fashion.) Scotty will make someone a wonderful pet but likely won’t be able to withstand any high impact or distance activity due to his previous fracture.
