I'm here to tell you all about why I'd make the perfect addition to your family! First things first, I get along with big dogs and even cats! Children are no problem for me either – I've got a great track record with them. I'm housetrained and know some impressive commands like sit, stay, and wait. Plus, I'm a pro at patiently waiting for my food before digging in. Leash walking? Piece of cake! I'm a pro at that too. And did I mention I'm crate trained? You can trust me to be on my best behavior when left alone, although I might get a little excited and impatient while waiting to be let out. I might have a little crazy bark, but it's all in good fun. Other than that, I'm a patient girl through and through. I'm what you call a Velcro gal – I love being by your side and snuggling up. I'm moderately active, so you won't catch me running crazy circles, but I do enjoy getting up and playing. When I'm in play mode, I tend to pounce rather than wrestle. But my absolute favorite is being a no-touch player. I enjoy chewing on Nyla bones, but my ultimate preference is snuggling under a cozy blanket. Now, let's talk about treats – I'm super food motivated! Unfortunately, I have a bit of a counter surfing habit, but I'm actively working on improving that. I absolutely adore all people and love curling up beside you or even on your lap like a precious baby. Oh, and be prepared for plenty of kisses – I struggle with controlling my licker (licking, that is)! Now, it's important to note that I can't be in a home with small dogs. I'm good with larger dogs, but I have a history of being aggressive around smaller pups. So, let's keep our home small-dog free, okay? I do prefer other female dogs over males when it comes to doggy playtime, but I can handle laid-back males as long as they respect my personal space. You might notice me barking at passing cars from the safety of the fence, and I have a bit of a habit of barking at rabbits too. But don't worry, I can't chase them through the fence – it's just a little game I play. I'm a true couch potato at heart and love nothing more than cuddling up with my humans. I'll follow you everywhere, just to make sure I don't miss a single moment of quality time together. Currently, I'm being fostered in East Tennessee, eagerly waiting for my forever home.
