Priscilla
Age: 1 Sex: Female Colors: Black/Rust Ears/Tail: Natural/docked Location: Manchester, TN Adoption Fee: $350 🐾 Meet Priscilla, a young female Doberman who has overcome incredible odds to find her forever home! Priscilla was brought into the shelter as an emaciated stray, with her fragile body weighing only 41lbs. She arrived completely shut down and terrified, but with love and care, she has blossomed into a remarkable dog. 🏡 When Priscilla first came to her foster moms house, it took over 30 minutes just to get her from the car and into the house. However, she quickly formed a deep bond with the male Doberman and befriended the female Doberman and husky living in the house. Even the picky Chihuahua loves playing with her! Priscilla's transformation over the past 4 weeks has been truly inspiring. 🐶 Priscilla gets along fantastically with dogs of all ages and sizes, and she doesn't seem to have a prey drive. She loves chewing on bones and chasing balls with her foster siblings. She is crate trained and has become quite vocal about letting her foster parents know when she needs to go outside. 🐾 While Priscilla still needs some additional training on basic commands and leash manners, she is incredibly motivated by treats and eager to please. She is still a bit shy, as life has been tough for her, but once she warms up to you, she will happily climb into your lap for pets and love. 💕 Priscilla is being fostered in middle Tennessee. Let's give this incredible girl the forever home she deserves! 🏡❤️ #VSDRPriscilla23 To learn more about each dog, click on their “dog tags” ( # VSDR NAME) and pull up all the posts about them, or check out their personal album in our facebook pictures! *Since we are 100% volunteer based, we ask for a $25 application fee to determine if the adopter is seriously interested in going through with an adoption.
