Recon
Age: 6 Sex: Male Colors: Red/Rust Ears/Tail: Natural/docked Location: Knoxville, TN Adoption Fee: $350 🐾 Meet Recon! 🐾 Recon is a dashing six-year-old male Doberman seeking a female-only home. This charming boy is looking for a single lady or a female-only household, as he prefers the company of women. Recon is good with other dogs, depending on their personality, and has not been tested with cats. He does well with kids who are experienced with dogs and is housebroken and crate trained. While Recon prefers to stay in his crate when left alone, he may shred a blanket but does not ingest it. He walks well on a leash and likes to heel on the right side. Recon is an anxious car rider and will benefit from extra support during trips. Recon knows commands like sit, stay, and come, and is a snuggle bug and Velcro guy who enjoys relaxing and being close to his humans. He is not overly active and doesn't play much, but he does have some anxiety and responds best to a soft and calm voice. Although he may be skiddish towards certain stimuli like loud noises or specific items, Recon is good with older children and prefers female humans. He thrives in a calm environment and enjoys relaxing in the backyard or snuggling on the sofa while watching Netflix. Recon is being fostered in East Tennessee and is looking for a patient and understanding forever family who can provide him with a peaceful and loving home. If you're seeking a new snuggle buddy to relax with and enjoy leisurely walks, Recon could be the perfect match for you! #vsdrrecon22 To learn more about each dog, click on their “dog tags” ( # VSDR NAME) and pull up all the posts about them, or check out their personal album in our Facebook pictures! *Since we are 100% volunteer-based, we ask for a $25 application fee to determine if the adopter is seriously interested in going through with an adoption.
