​Meet Zeus! A lovable 1.5 year old neutered male. Don't let his markings fool you-- Zeus is 100% Doberman with a full mask. Affectionate, alert, and self-sufficient, Zeus is a big (85lb) hunk of love and great family dog. He is remarkably docile for his age and very sweet. A classic velcro Dobie, Zeus is a leaner who wants to be near his people any chance he gets. We've jokingly nicknamed him "Puddle" because he likes to melt into the floor at your feet. Zeus is respectful and submissive to his 6 year old female foster sister. He is playful and does well with other dogs, though he is still learning to share his toys. Zeus is equally content to entertain himself with toys and would do well in a home without other dogs, too. He will probably not do well in a home with cats.  Zeus would do best in a home with children over 12.  Zeus is crate trained, housebroken, and has been fully vetted. He walks well on a leash and knows basic commands including "sit," "stay," and "shake." He does bark but is learning the command “quiet”, He is a great alerter and protector of his home. Does well with strangers after a proper introduction. Zeus is ready for adoption and is being fostered in Knoxville, TN.
